Michael J. Vielmetti
President

Michael Vielmetti is the President of The Thompson & Lichtner Company, Inc.  He joined the staff as a Field Engineer in 1973 following his graduation from Southeastern Massachusetts University. Since 1976, Mr. Vielmetti has focused on the weatherproofing of new, historic, and renovated building construction, conducting condition surveys and field inspections and installations. Mr. Vielmetti has extensive experience in field inspections involving roof systems and waterproof membranes, in addition to testing experience involving air infiltration and water penetration, and structural tests of windows in building facades of all types. His condition surveys of existing commercial/residential building facades have included complex combinations of materials, such as brick, terracotta, stone, wood, roof membranes, steel, masonry, and concrete.
